LOGAN <br />AN ORDINANCE AU7.HORI Z ING TEE LEASE OF SURPLUS <br />PROPERTY OWNED BY T'HE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />LOCATED IN THE AREA OF THE NORTH 0124STED <br />RECREATION CENTER COMPLEX IN 'I'FE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, AS AMENDED. <br />,.,u. <br />ZVf-IEREAS, the Council and Administration have determined that a <br />portion of the Recreation Center Complex property is not needed for <br />municipal purposes and is available to prospective tenants on a long <br />term lease basis, and <br />WI-EREAS, it is the desire of this Council to lease said parcel of <br />land in accordance with law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF T'HE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUN'I'Y OF CiJYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the following described real estate belonging <br />to the City of North Olmsted is not needed for municipal purposes to <br />wit: <br />Beginning at the center of an iron pin located at the <br />southeast corner of the North Olmsted Recreation Center, <br />part of original Dover Township Lot No. 7, Lot 24 as per <br />map recorded in Book 232, Page 33 of Maps, in the Office <br />of the County Recorder of Cuyahoga Countyb thence along <br />the north line of Stuart J. Graines N. 65 -031-57" E., <br />One gundred and Eighty (180.0) feet to a point; thence <br />S. 0-361-18" ;N., Two Hundred Seventy-Four and Sixteen <br />Hundredths (274.16) feet east of and approximately <br />parallel to the ReSreation Center easterly drive to a <br />point; thence N. 0-36-18" W., One Hundred Sixty-Four <br />and 'Itivo Hundredths (164.02) feet to a point on the <br />eastSrly property line of the Recreation Center, thence <br />S. 0-36' -18" tiV. ,'Itivo Hundred (200) f_eet to the place <br />of beginning, containing 0.89 acres more or less. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized to <br />prepare lease specifications with varying alternate proposals, which specifica- <br />tions shall be the basis for the acceptance of bids. <br />SECTION 3: That the N1a.yor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a long term lease agreement with the highest bidder according to law, provided, <br />however, that the highest bid is approved by the Board of Control and a ma.jority <br />vote of Council, after which time the Mayor shall execute a lease which shall be <br />recorded with the Cuyahoga CoLmty Recorder's Office. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from ana ter the earliest period allowed by law provided that this Ordinance <br />shall be approved by two-thirds vote of the I'lembers of Council.
