BOEH`AER <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A REQUIREMENT THAT ALL <br />INDIVIDUALS ACTING AS PRIVATE POLICEMEN, SECURITY <br />GUARDS, AND PRIVATE INVESTIC'?ATORS BE REQUIRED TO <br />REGISTER WITH THE POLICE DEPART'MENT PRIOR TO <br />OPERATING WITHIN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AS AMENDED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY 'IHE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH QLMSTED, COIJNI'Y <br />OF CUYAHO?'?A AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That any person who is employed in the City of North <br />Olmsted to act as either a private policeman, special investigator, security <br />guard, or by whatever named called, whether said individual carries a firearm <br />or not, sha.ll be required to register with the Police Department prior to being <br />employed within the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That the Registration Fee sha.ll be fifteen dollars <br />($15.00) for any individual registering with the Police Denartment, in compliance <br />with Section 1 hereof. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Public Safety shall prepare a <br />registratio-? rm, together with rules and regulations governing the registra- <br />tion of all individuals coming within the scope of the reauirements of this <br />Ordinance. <br />SECTION 4: That any person who violates the provisions of this <br />Ordinance s a 1 be guilty of a minor misdemeanor. <br />SECTI(N 5: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : ,)'f <br />ATTEST: <br />. ? <br />?2, e? <br />• ? <br />ORENCE E. 5T4PBELL, CLE OF COU!VCIL D Y IMPERT, PIRESID TT OF COUNCIL <br />a? <br />?1n?Pt.•? <br />First reading: 2/20/79 <br />Second reading: 3 6 79 <br />Third reading: 3 20 79 <br />APPROVED : <br />-?
