BE IT ORDAINED BY T'fIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NOP.TH OLMSTED) COUN'I'Y OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 78-70 which now reads: "SECTION 1: That the complement of the Recreation Department and comnensation paid to the members of the Recreation Denartment is established as follows: Recreation Director $7,500.00 Annually Recreation Corrunission Secretary $ 300.00 Annually Game Officials $ 6.00 Per Game For a period not to exceed eight (8) weeks during the swrnner months, which neriod of eight (8) weeks shall be determined by the Recreation Commission, the following employees shall be naid as follows: Playg.round Sunervisors $ 840.00 Per Summer Assistant Playground Supervisors $ 725.00 Per Summer which salaries sha.ll be paid bi-weelcly by the Director of Finance." be and the same is hereby amended and as amended shall read as f_ollows: SECTION l: T'hat the complement of the Recreation Department and compensatlon paid to the members of the Recreation Department is established as follows: Recreation Director $7,500.00 Annually Recreation Cormnission Secretary Part Time not to exceed 19-1/2 hours per week $3.00 to $3.50 Per Hour Game Officials $6.00 Per Game For the period not to exceed eight (8) weelcs during the swmner months, which period of eight (8) weelcs shall be determined by the Recreation Corcunission, the following employees shall be paid as follows: Playground Supervisors $ 840.00 Per Summer Assistant Playbround Sunervisors $ 725.00 Per Summer which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. SECTION 2: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 78-70 as previously adopted is hereby repealed. SF.CTION 3: That this (7rdinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure irunediately necessary for the preservation of the nublic health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is irrmiediately necessary to staff the Recreation Department with part time clerical help, and further nrovided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immiediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
