Stop signs affecting the movement of traffic on said <br />street or highway within the roadway being improved shall <br />be removed and no stop signs shall be erected on same <br />except at its intersection with another through highway <br />where traffic does not warrant the installation of a <br />traffic control signal but where the warrants for a <br />"Four-Way Stop" as provided in the aforesaid Manual are <br />met. <br />4. In establishing a school zone, proper pavement markings <br />shall be painted and the school speed limit signs shall <br />be erected as provided in the aforesaid manual. <br />5. The MUNICIPALITY shall prohibit parking within the limits <br />of the roadway constructed under this contract within the <br />corporate limits of the MUNICIPALITY. <br />6. No rule or regulation shall be enacted restricting the <br />use of the improved road and/or structure by any class of <br />vehicle or vehicle load permitted by the Ohio R evised <br />Code to use a public highway. Any existing rule or <br />regulation so restricting road usage shall be rescinded. <br />F. MAINTENANCE OBLIGATIONS <br />1. That the COUNTY reserves the right to terminate its <br />maintenance obligations on Dover Center Road if, in sound <br />judgment, the road can be maintained more efficiently by <br />other agencies or methods. In the event the COUNTY <br />determines to exercise this right of termination, the <br />COUNTY will give the MUNICIPALITY written notice at least <br />ninety (90) days prior to the intended termination date. <br />2. That, upon completion of the project, the COUNTY will <br />terminate its surrrner maintenance obligations, and that <br />the responsibility for such maintenance will revert to <br />the MUNICIPALITY. The County Engineer will make periodic <br />inspections from the date the MUNICIPALITY assumes <br />maintenance and will notify the MUNICIPALITY as to any <br />necessary repairs which are required to keep the road in <br />serviceable condition. For a period of ten (10) years <br />after date of completion of the improvement, the <br />MUNICIPALITY agrees to make such repairs promptly when <br />notified by the County Engineer that such repairs are <br />necessary. <br />- 3 -
