?-. <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OIA'LSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 79-20 <br />PAGE 2. <br />SECTION 2: That <br />Mayors an City Managers <br />action and to employ such <br />as it may deem necessary <br />..? <br />? <br />the suburban Water Task Force of the Cuyahoga County <br />Association is authorized to coordinate such legal <br />professional assistance, legal, technical or otherwise, <br />to carry out the intentions which are expressed herein. <br />SECTION 3: That the sum of 'I?vo Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Eight <br />Dollars aneig ty-eight cents ($2,788.88) is hereby appropriated and shall <br />be payed to the Cuyahoga CoLmty Ma.yors and City Managers Association for the <br />purpose of paying the expenses incidental to the coordination of such activity <br />and employment of professional assistance, which funds shall be held in escrow, <br />dispersed as necessary, and accounted for at reasonable intervals or at any time <br />upon reauest with the unused portion of funds to be returned to the City of North <br />Olmsted at the conclusion of this litigation or otherwise. <br />SECTTON 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure provi ing or the irrmediate preservation of the health, safety, and-welfare <br />of the residents of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, in that unless imQnediate <br />action is undertaken, the Cleveland Water System will continue to drastically <br />deteriorate and be unable to provide adeauate water service to its present and <br />future users; wherefore, this Ordinance shall be in full effect nrovided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force irimiediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : 1? a,g o &7_2 <br />ATTEST: <br />? <br />atl? 2; <br />F ORENCE CANIPBELL, C RK OF COUNCIL <br />3 -2-o --?
