-,,,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 6 DSO <br />By <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ASSESSMENT EQUALIZATION <br />BOARD TO HEAR OBJECTIONS RELATIVE TO THE ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR THE MILL ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY . <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That Harvey Denk , James Redovian <br />and Raymond Benisek three disinterested freeholders of said <br />City be and they are hereby appointed to act as an Assessment Equalization <br />Board to hear and determine all timely written objections to the estimated <br />assessments heretofore reported to this Council of the cost of improving <br />Mill Road from Porter Road to Dover Center Road by constructing a concrete <br />sidewalk on the south side of said street, and to equalize the same as <br />to them seems proper, in accordance with law and with Resolution No. 76-85 <br />adopted by this Council on July 1, 1976. <br />Section 2. The Board shall first meet for the above purpose at <br />the Council Chamber in the City Hall on the 22nd day of November , 1976, at <br />8:00 ~.m., and upon the completion of such equalization shall report such <br />equalized assessment to Council. <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of this resolution were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this <br />Council and of any of its committees that resulted inssuch formal action, were <br />in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements <br />including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health <br />and safety of said City, and for the further reason that the immediate con- <br />struction of said improvement is necessary to eliminate existing hazards <br />to pedestrian traffic on Mill Road; wherefore, this resolution shall be in <br />full force and effect from and immediately after its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : •C ~,,, ~ ~ /~~~ <br />ATTEST : iJ~ ~ ~~z~~ <br />Nora T.
