AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1173.02 ENTITLED "PERMITTED BUILDINGS AND USES" OF CHAPTER 1173 ENTITLED "GENERAL RETAIL BUSINESS DISTRICT" OF THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted by changing the requirement relating to permitted uses in general retail business districts with respect to printing shops; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Section 1173.02 entitled "Permitted Buildings and Uses~~hapter 1173 entitled "General Retail Business District" of the Zoning Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted be, and the same is, hereby amended and as amended shall read as follows: "1173.02 Permitted Buildings and Uses In a General Retail Business District land may be used and buildings or structures may be designed, built, altered or used only for one or more of_ the following permitted uses: (A) Any use of the type permitted and as regulated in the nearest adjacent residential district. (B) Any use permitted in paragraphs (B), (C), (D), (E), and (F) of Section 1171.02. (C) Retail business engaged in: 1. The sale of food and beverages of all kinds in- cluding sale for consumption on the premises, provided, however, no establishment engaged in the business of selling spiritous, vinous or malt beverages for consumption on the premises shall be located nearer than five hundred (500) feet from the lot occupied by an existing church, public or private school, playground, park, library or public building. 2. The retail sale of general merchandise including sales in a department store. 3. The retail sale of apparel of all kinds. 4.
