CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE ~0. 76 - ~.3~ro a. ;_ AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A WATER MAIN FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPLYING WATER SERVICE BY THE CITY OF CLEVELAND TO THE CITY LINE ESTATES SUBDIVISION FROM THE CLEVELAND ELECTRIC ILLUMINATING COMPANY WHEREAS, the City of Cleveland requires that extensions of water lines shall only be approved if easements are granted to both the City of Cleveland and the City of North Olmsted so that water mains may be constructed and maintained therein, and WHEREAS, this Council deems it in the best interest of the City of North Olmsted to accept the easements described herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That this Council does hereby accept an easement from Clevelan Electric Illuminating Company for the installation and maintenance of a water main for the purpose of supplying water service by the City of Cleveland to the City Line Estates Subdivision, a copy of said easements being attached hereto, marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof as though fully rewritten herein. SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to issue~is warrant and pay to Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company One Dollar-and other valuable consideration for the granting of easements. SECTION 3: The Engineer of the City of North Olmsted is hereby i~c -recte~to cause said easements to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder. SECTION 4: That the Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized to forwar a certified copy of this ordinance to the Director of Public Utilities of the City of Cleveland.
