Effective January 1, 1977, the various salaries shall be <br />fixed as follows: <br />Chief of Police $22,338.00 <br />Captains 20,307.00 <br />Lieutenants 18,461.00 <br />Sergeants 16,783.00 <br />Patrolmen for First Year 12,775.00 <br />Patrolmen for Second Year 13,957.00 <br />Patrolmen after Second Year 15,257.00 <br />School Guards X2.25 <br />Auxiliary Police $2.15 to $2.68 <br />Police Matron $1.35 to $2.64 <br />Full-Time Police Officer <br />Working for the City of <br />North. Olmsted during off <br />duty hours $3.20 <br />Dispatchers (civilian part-time) <br />Dispatchers (civilian full-time) <br />annually <br />annually <br />annually <br />annually <br />annually <br />annually <br />annually <br />per hour <br />per hour <br />per hour <br />to $5.56 per hour <br />$3.00 per hour <br />$6.500.00 annually <br />C. Any of the above, with the exception of the School Guards <br />and Auxiliary Police, shall while on duty as Plainclothes Detectives <br />be paid additional compensation at the rate of $400.00 annually for <br />all time spent as Plainclothes Detectives or-as Juvenile Officers. <br />D. That all full-time employees of the Police Department having <br />completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service, as employees <br />of said department, shall be paid an additional 4% of their base <br />annual salary, thereffter until completion of the tenth (10th) year <br />of full-time continuous service, after which such employee shall <br />receive 50 of their base annual salary, thereafter until the comple- <br />tion of their fifteeneth (15th) year of full-time continuous service, <br />and thereafter 6% of their base annual salary until after the comple- <br />tion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time continuous service, <br />and during each~ear of full-time service thereafter they shall <br />receive 70 of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />E. In computing length of service for the purpose of making <br />payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit <br />shall be given for part-time service, but such limitation is only <br />for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion <br />for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other <br />benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees <br />in the Safety Department. <br />F. The secretarial and clerical help of the Police Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as longevity increment, <br />the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over <br />and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid secretary or cler- <br />icalhelp, at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secre- <br />tary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of <br />North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date <br />of employment. <br />G. In addition to the regular base salary, plus increments and <br />other wage increases, all regular employees of the Police Department, <br />including officers, shall on their original appointment and during <br />the first calendar year thereafter receive a clothing allowance of <br />$300.00 to be determined and disbursed by and with the approval of <br />the Police Chief of the Department. <br /> <br />
