~.,. <br />i 4 . r <br />~1 <br /> ~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO . 76 - ~Q9 <br />Page 2. <br />service, after which such employee shall receive 40 of their base annual <br />salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15) year of <br />continuous full-time service, after which said employee shall receive <br />50 of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) <br />year of continuous full-time service, and thereafter each year of full- <br />time service thereafter they shall receive 60 of their base annual <br />salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 4: That all full-time employees of the Engineering <br />Department, w-its the exception of secretaries and clerks, shall receive <br />the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the Mayor in <br />emergencies: New Year's Day; D4emorial Day; Independence Day; Labor <br />Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; and the employee's <br />birthday. <br />SECTION 5: That all full-time employees of the Engineering <br />Department s all be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the <br />following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full-time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full-time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full-time service <br />Five (5) weeks vacation after twenty (20) years full-time service <br />SECTION 6: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy o~t~iis Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order that the <br />Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />SECTION 7: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions <br />of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance 75-165 enacted June 17, 1975, <br />are hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 8: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public <br />health, safety, and welfare, and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line <br />due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~_~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ ~~ <br />Nora Hil er o Council L mp rt~, re t o Council <br />APPR ED: <br />.
