CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76 - 9,~ <br />BY : G~~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE <br />RESURFACING OF THE PARKING LOT AREA AT THE <br />NORTH OLMSTED RECREATION CENTER AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to improve the <br />Recreation Center parking lot by installing black top covering <br />on the existing slag parking lot. <br />NOL11, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />here y aut orized to advertise for bids for the resurfacing of the <br />parking lot area at the North Olmsted Recreation Center, all in <br />accordance with plans and specifications now on file in the office <br />of the City Engineer, and that upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted <br />for the said resurfacing project. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to begin the resurfacing project while <br />the weather is amenable, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the D~ayor. <br />PASSED: _~~~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />NORA T.
