<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 76 ~1I <br />Page 2 <br />(C) In computing length of service for the purpose of making <br />payments of longevity increments as hereinabove set forth, no credit <br />shall be given for part time service, but such limitation is <br />only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the <br />exclusion for part time service shall not deprive any employee of <br />any other benefits which may be due them for part time service as <br />employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />(D) That there shall be allowed for each bus driver the sum of <br />$100.00 per year for the acquisition of uniforms to be worn while <br />operating a bus for the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />(E) That upon the appointment of a new driver, he shall be allowed <br />the sum of $110.00 for uniforms and accessories for the first year <br />of such appointment. <br />(F) That all bus driving employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be entitled to certain holidays during the year <br />and shall not be required to work on these holidays unless scheduled <br />to work by the General Manager. In the event the employee works on <br />one of the following holidays, the employee shall receive another day <br />off from work to replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays <br />are as follows: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; <br />Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day, President's Day; and <br />the employee's birthday. <br />(G) That excluding secretarial and clerical employees in the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, all full time employees of the North Olmsted <br />D~unicipal Bus Line shall be furnished at no cost to the employees, <br />accident and health insurance, which insurance shall pay the employee, <br />in the event he is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill <br />health, in the sum of Forty Dollars ($40.00) per week. Said insurance <br />shall also have accident and death benefits with the principal sum <br />of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). <br />Effective May 1, 1976, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the <br />full amount, single person's rate of the hospitalization cost f_or <br />unmarried full time. employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus <br />Line, and in the event any full time employee of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line is married or is the head of the family, the <br />City of North Olmsted shall pay $835.56 toward the cost of a <br />family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual or <br />the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. <br />(H) That all full time bus driving employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service <br />SECTION Z: That Ordinance No. 76-10 and any other ordinances <br />or parts o or finances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />
