t;ITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 7~~`^~- flY C%~ . l/i.~- A-N ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-8-31 BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR PAVING AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. 1dHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the Cit~r of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the paving. WHEREAS, Owner of S/L 7 Southern Avenue have paid the sum of $ 1,159.O4in payment of said special assessments, in advance, for the tax years 19 76 through 1978 inclusive, together with accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 235-8-31 in the City of North Olmsted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized and direc~~ed to cancel for the years 1976 through 19 79, inclusive assessments in full for, Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments for the period 19 76 through 19 79 , inclusive, amounting to $1,159.04 on said parcel. Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance-is hereby declared to be an- emergency measure necessary-for the preservation of the pabl-ic peace,-health and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel x•235-8-31 for paving. Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
