<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 76- ~~ <br />BY: ~~ <br />/ AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF <br />SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND PREVIOUSLY <br />USED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICES AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the Council and the Administration have determined <br />that various items of personal property owned by the City of North <br />Olmsted and formerly used by the Department of Public Services are <br />no longer needed for municipal purposes, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to sell said <br />personal property in accordance with law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the following personal property was <br />formerly used by the Department of Public Services and is no longer <br />needed for municipal business, to wit: <br />See Attached Schedule "A" made a part <br />hereof as though fully rewritten herein. <br />SECTION 2: That the mayor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />sell said personal property to the highest bidder according to law <br />provided, however, that the highest bid is approved by the Board of <br />Control and further provided that the highest bidder shall, upon <br />acceptance of the bid, pay to the Director of Finance of the City of <br />North Olmsted twenty-five percent (25~) of the bid price and that <br />within 5 days thereafter, the entire bid price shall be paid and the <br />successful bidder shall accept and remove said property from the <br />premises of the City. The Mayor, having been advised upon receipt <br />of the full bid price shall, if necessary, execute any and all <br />documents required by law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law provided <br />that this Ordinance shall be approved by at least two-thirds vote of <br />all members of council./ <br />PASSED : ,G <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ <br />NORA T.
