CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BY: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 76 - ~'~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF <br />SURPLUS BUSES OWNED BY THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED AND PREVIOUSLY USED BY <br />THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE. <br />WHEREAS, the Council and the Administration have determined <br />that various buses owned by the City of North Olmsted and formerly <br />used by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line are no longer needed for <br />municipal purposes, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to sell said buses <br />in accordance with the law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the following buses formerly were used and <br />are no longer needed for municipal purposes by the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line, to wit: <br />See Schedule "A" attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof as though fully <br />rewritten herein. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />sell said buses.tQ the highest bidder according to law, provided <br />however, that the highest bid is approved by the Board of Control and <br />further provided that the highest bidder shall, upon acceptance of <br />the bid, pay to the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />twenty-five (25~) of the bid price and that within 5 days thereafter, <br />the entire bid price shall be paid and the successful bidder shall <br />accept and remove said property from the premises of the City. The <br />Mayor, having been advised upon receipt of the full bid price, shall <br />if necessary, execute any and all documents required by law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law, provided <br />that this Ordinance shall be approved by at least two-thirds vote of <br />all members of Council. <br />PASSED : ' ,,~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~/J n <br />_ /~Lwe-ate /• ~ ~ ~' s ~.,---~,-~ _ <br />NORA T.
