CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY: ORDINANCE NO. 76 - ~'~ AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS BUSES OWNED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND PREVIOUSLY USED BY THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE. WHEREAS, the Council and the Administration have determined that various buses owned by the City of North Olmsted and formerly used by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line are no longer needed for municipal purposes, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to sell said buses in accordance with the law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That the following buses formerly were used and are no longer needed for municipal purposes by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, to wit: See Schedule "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as though fully rewritten herein. SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to sell said buses.tQ the highest bidder according to law, provided however, that the highest bid is approved by the Board of Control and further provided that the highest bidder shall, upon acceptance of the bid, pay to the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted twenty-five (25~) of the bid price and that within 5 days thereafter, the entire bid price shall be paid and the successful bidder shall accept and remove said property from the premises of the City. The Mayor, having been advised upon receipt of the full bid price, shall if necessary, execute any and all documents required by law. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law, provided that this Ordinance shall be approved by at least two-thirds vote of all members of Council.
