CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76 - <br />BY : 6~~, _ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ADDITIONAL <br />POLICE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM <br />WHEREAS, there is presently available to the North Olmsted <br />Police Department matching funds for additions to the police <br />communications system, and <br />WHEREAS, it is estimated that the necessary funds needed. tq <br />up-date the police communications system is approximately <br />$22,000.00 of which the Federal Government, through a grant would <br />provide $20,000.00, the State of Ohio $1,000.00, and the City <br />$1,000.00, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to participate <br />in the grant program for the purpose of up-dating the police <br />communications system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECa ON 1: That the Director of Public Safety is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for additional police communications <br />system, all in accordance with plans and specifications now on file <br />in the office of the Director of Public Safety, and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted <br />for the said additional police communications sy_~Stem. <br />f,. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after the earliest~~period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : ~~~-~-- <br />ATTEST: <br />NORA T.
