Y <br />f <br />BY: <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 74 - /~f <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A DEED FROM V. E. MITCHELL <br />FOR LAND WHICH THE SAID V. E. MITCHELL IS DONATING <br />AS A LIFT TO THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR PARK <br />PURPOSES. <br />WHEREAS, through the efforts of the Kiwanis Club of North Olmsted, <br />V. E. Mitchell has expressed a desire to establish a walk-in park in <br />the area of Butternut Ridge, and <br />WHEREAS, the said V. E. Mitchell desires to deed to the City of <br />North Olmsted as a gift, property hereinafter described to be used <br />exclusively for a walk~in park, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council and the Administration to <br />gratefully accept-the land hereinafter described from the said <br />V. E. Mitchell; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council does hereby authorize the Mayor <br />to receive a deed of conveyance from V. E. Mitchell conveying th e <br />following described land which is to be used for park purposes: <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and <br />State of Ohio, and known as being part of Original Olmsted <br />Township Lot No. 23, in Tract No. 6, and bounded and described <br />as follows: <br />Beginning at a point, on the centerline of Butternut Ridge <br />Road (60 feet wide), at its intersection with the centerline <br />of Kennedy Ridge Road (60 feet wide); <br />Thence South 70° 52' 53" East 444.38 feet along said center- <br />line of Butternut Ridge Road, to a point, said point being <br />also the most Southerly corner of land conveyed to Myrtle I. <br />Lucas by deed dated February 17, 1943, and recorded in Volume <br />5492, Page 594 of Cuyahoga County Records; <br />Thence North 16° 56' 57" East 176.24 feet along the South- <br />easterly line of land so conveyed to Myrtle I. Lucas, to the <br />principal place of beginning; <br />Thence North 601 35' 58" East 94.10 feet to a point on the <br />Northwesterly line of land conveyed to Phillip Wetzel by <br />deed dated February 10, 1920, and recorded in Volume 2343, <br />Page 111 of Cuyahoga County Records; <br />Thence North 15° 04' 20" East along the Northwesterly line of <br />land so conveyed to Phillip Wetzel 120.00 feet to the Westerly <br />line of land conveyed to Laura Bainbridge by deed dated <br />January 3, 1910 and recorded in Volume 1228, Page 159 of <br />Cuyahoga County Records; <br />.,~,ri,.,,,~ <br />
