,, - • <br /> <br />a <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 74 - 111 <br />Page 2 <br />1703.02 Office Buildings (Cont'd) <br />Prior to the construction of any such building, the developer or <br />owner thereof shall present plans to the Building Administrator <br />and Fire Chief with respect to the placement of the early warning <br />fire detection system. Said plan shall meet the approval of the <br />Building Administrator and/or Fire Chief. Should the Building <br />Administrator and/or Fire Chief of the City of North Olmsted deem <br />it necessary to have additional detectors installed within the <br />office building, the location and number of detectors shall be <br />determined jointly by the Building Administrator and Fire Chief, <br />1703.03 Specifications and Requirements <br />A. The early warning fire detection system detectors shall be <br />sensitive to visible and invisible products of combustion. <br />Detectors sensitive to heat alone are not acceptable with <br />respect to compliance with the requirements of this Chapter. <br />B. For the purposes of installation and maintenance, the applica- <br />tion of the following sections of the National Fire Protection <br />Association shall apply: No. 71, 72A, 72B, 72C, 72D and 74. <br />1703.04 Penalty <br />Whoever violates any provision of this Chapter shall be fined not <br />more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00). Any such violation shall <br />constitute a separate offense on each successive day continued. <br />SECTION 2: That any other ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED• L~~ %~/ ~~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />/J / <br />NORA T.
