., <br />~.~, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 74 - ~~ <br />BY : MR . ti~~y.~-e~__ <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE AMERI- <br />CAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND <br />MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, WHICH AMENDS THE <br />PREVIOUS AGREEMENT ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE <br />73-115, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of Council has reviewed the Memo- <br />randum of Understanding previously adopted by virtue of Ordinance No. <br />73-115, and it is the desire of Council to amend the prior agreement <br />by providing a premium of Fifteen Cents (15~) per hour for all <br />unlicensed as well as Class I and Class II Operators while any of said <br />operators are operating the Zimpro Sludge Treating Equipment, and <br />WHEREAS, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal <br />Employees has agreed to the amendment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SE'C'TION l: That the Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding <br />with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees <br />which is attached hereto and made a <br />adopted, ratified and approved, and <br />and directed to affix his signature <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />part hereof be and is hereby <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />thereto for and on behalf of the <br />SECTION 2: That any other ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is necessary to make adjustments to the requirements of the various <br />classifications, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ~~f ~ ~/~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />. <br />NORA T.
