.` <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED _~ <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1974 <br />Page 2 <br />employed by the City of North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on <br />each anniversary date of employment. <br />SECTION 6: That the employees shall not be required to work the <br />following holidays, unless requested to work by their supervisor in an <br />emergency: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, <br />Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Presidents' Day and the employee's <br />birthday. <br />SECTION 7: That all full time employees shall be entitled to an <br />annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service <br />SECTION 8: The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount,up <br />to a maximum of $650.64, for the hospitalization insurance cost of all <br />secretarial and clerical employees of the City of North Olmsted with <br />either the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans or with <br />the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. <br />SECTION 9: That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to <br />forward a copy of this ordinance to all department heads and the <br />Director of Finance for payment of remuneration, as set forth above, <br />immediately upon its passage. <br />SECTION 10: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the <br />provisions of this ordinance, are hereby repealed, especially Ordinance <br />No. 73-71, enacted July 17, 1973, with the effective date of this <br />ordinance. <br />SECTION 11: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation~of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them <br />into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED- ,~_ <br />ATTEST <br />y~ ~- ~ O . <br />NORA T.
