CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 74 -~/~ <br />BY : G%~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE <br />CITY C~' NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />WITH WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION SERVICE COMPANY <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPRESENTING THE CITY <br />WITH REGARD TO UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION CLAIMS. <br />WHEREAS, Ohio law now subjects municipal corporations to the <br />provisions of the unemployment compensation act, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council and administration to <br />hire the services of Workmen's Compensation Service Company to <br />represent the City as the need arises in cases involving claims <br />for unemployment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />enter into a contract with Workmen's Compensation Service Company <br />to provide for representation for and on behalf of the City relative <br />to unemployment compensation claims. <br />SECTION 2: That the contract price shall not exceed Twenty-five <br />Dollars ($25.00) per month for which the Director of Finance is <br />hereby authorized to pay said amount. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED• <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ ..~ <br />,~„> NORA T.
