CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74 - ~~ <br />BY• . <br />~r <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />50,000 CAI,LONS OF SODIUM ACUMINATE FOR USE <br />BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 50,000 gallons of <br />Sodium Aluminate for use by the Service Department, according to <br />the specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary to provide for the City's requirements for <br />Sodium Aluminate, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />. <br />NORA T.
