~~,;,., <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74 - <br />BY: Mr. Limpert <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR AN <br />INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CLOSED CIRCUIT <br />TELEVISION MONITORING SYSTEM, AND AN <br />AUDIO MONITORING DEVICE IN EACH CELL <br />AND ELEVATOR IN THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO; <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Safety be and he is hereby <br />authorize to advertise for bids for an internal and external closed <br />circuit television monitoring system, and an audio monitoring device <br />in each cell and elevator in the Police Department of the City of <br />Westlake, pursuant to specification now on file in his office, and <br />that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is necessary to secure the new Police Administration Building by <br />providing television monitoring system and audio monitoring devices, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~+~ <br />ATTEST : ~~`~-'' <br />~~~ ~~ <br />NORA T.
