<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 74 - ~~ <br />BY: ~J <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP <br />AND FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY CHANGING THE <br />"NO LEFT TURN" SIGN AT DOVER CENTER ROAD AND MILL <br />ROAD TO "NO LEFT TURN FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 6:30 P.M." <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted that the "I~o Left Turn" sign previously placed at <br />Dover Center Road and Mill Road is too restrictive, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to prohibit left turns <br />from Dover Center Road to Mill Road only during the hours where <br />traffic has a tendancy to be congestive, and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the <br />maintenance of a traffic control map, which said map can be <br />amended only by ordinance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby <br />authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control Map and File <br />of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon a sign reading <br />"No Left Turn from 4:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M." at Dover Center Road and <br />Mill Road. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to have said <br />sign installed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />NORA T.
