CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO . 7 4 - (o <br />BY: Mr. Limpert <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE DIRECTOR <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 1000 TONS OF SLAG, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 1000 Tons of slag of <br />various sizes for use in maintaining the City's streets in accor- <br />dance with the specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that it is necessary to provide for the City's Slag requirements in <br />that the present contract expires May 22, 1974, and further pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Nord 1 Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: Q 7 <br />• ~/t <br />Ra ph Christman, Mayor <br />0 ' ' <br />Francis J.
