<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE~Dy <br />ORDINANCE NO. 74 - ;7 ~ <br />Page 3 <br />G. That all full time employees of the North Olmsted Police <br />Department, excluding secretarial and clerical help, shall be entitled <br />to certain holidays during the year and shall not be required to work <br />on these holidays, unless scheduled to work by the Chief of Police. <br />In the event the employee works on one of the following holidays, the <br />employee shall receive another day off from work to replace the <br />holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows: New Year's <br />Day; Presidents Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; <br />Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and the <br />employee's personal use day, this provision does not apply to <br />Auxiliary Police or School Guards. <br />H. That all full time employees of the Police Department shall be <br />entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />SECTION 3: That the employees of the Police Department of the <br />City of North Olmsted be reimbursed, not to exceed $3.00 per day, for <br />per diem expenses while in attendance at the Police Training School <br />established by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners at Western Reserve <br />University, which school is for a two (2) week period with ten (10) <br />days class attendance. <br />SECTION 4: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />resolutions or parts of ordinances, inconsistent herewith to the pro- <br />visions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 73-44, enacted <br />June 5, 1973, are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 5: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance <br />in order that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation as <br />hereinabove set forth, and a copy of this Ordinance to the Chief of <br />Police. <br />SECTION 6: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: C~% ~~, 17 7~ <br />ATTEST: <br />L/~.~ft.~ ~ ~ , <br />NORA T.
