That all maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be entitled certain holidays during the year and shall not <br />be required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to work by the <br />General Manager. In the event the employee works on one of the follow- <br />ing holidays, the employee shall receive another day off from work to <br />replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows: <br />New Years's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving <br />Day; Christmas Day; Presidents' Day and the employee's birthday. <br />E. That all full time maintenance employees of t:he North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full tame service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years ful]_ time service <br />F. Effective March 15, 1974, the City of North Olmsted shall pay <br />the full amount, single person's rate of the hospitalization cost for <br />unmarried full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, <br />and in the event any full time employee of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus <br />Line is married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted <br />shall pay the full amount, up to a maximum of Six Hundred Fifteen ($615.00) <br />Dollars per year toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with <br />Blue Cross and Medical Mutual and up to a maximum of Six Hundred Thirty- <br />eight and 40/100 ($638.40) Dollars toward the Kaiser Community Health <br />Foundation Plan. The employee will bear the cost of any subsequent <br />increase in the premium for family coverage. <br />That excluding secretarial and clerical employees in the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line all full time employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished, at no cost to the employees, <br />accident and health insurance, which insurance shall pay the employee in <br />the event he is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill health, <br />the sum of Forty Dollars ($40.00) per week. Said insurance shall also <br />have accidental death and death benefits with the principal sum of Fifteen <br />Hundred Dollars. ($1,500.00). <br />Section 2. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions inconsistent with the provisions of <br />this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 73-75, effective July 17, <br />1973, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed <br />to forward copies of this Ordinance to the Finance Director of the City of <br />North Olmsted, the Service Director of the City of NortYi Olmsted, and the <br />General Manager of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line.. <br />Section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emer- <br />gency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare by virtue of the fact that the Finance Department can <br />compute pay raises at the same time for all departments, WHEREFORE, this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, <br />otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />Passed: ~o f~7~ <br />Attest : //'~ ~ <br />Nora T.
