That there shall be allowed for each bus dz•iver the sum <br />of $100.00 per year for the acquisition of uniforms to be worn while <br />operating a bus for the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />E. That upon the appointment of a new driver he shall be <br />allowed the sum of $110.00 for uniforms and accessories for the first <br />year of such appointment. <br />F. That all bus driving employees of North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be entitled certain holidays during the year and shall <br />not be required to work on these holidays unless scheduled to work by <br />the General Manager. In the event the employee works on one of the <br />following holidays the employee shall receive another day off from work <br />to replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as <br />follows: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; <br />Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; Presidents' Day and the employee`s <br />birthday. <br />G. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees in the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line all full time employees of the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished, at no cost to the employees, <br />accident and health insurance, which insurance shall pay the employee in <br />the event he is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill health, <br />in the sum of Forty Dollars ($40.00) per week. Said insurance shall also <br />have accidental and death benefits with the principal sum of Fifteen <br />Hundred Dollars ($1,500). <br />Effective March 15, 1974, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the <br />full amount, single person's rate of the hospitalization cost for unmarried <br />full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and in the <br />event any full time employee of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line is <br />married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted shall <br />pay the full amount, up to a maximum of Six Hundred Fifteen ($615.00) <br />Dollars toward the cost of a family hospitalizatie~n plan with Blue Cross <br />and Medical Mutual and up to a maximum of Six Hundred Thirty-Eight and 40/100 <br />($638.40) Dollars toward the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. The <br />employee will bear. the cost of any subsequent increase in the premium for <br />family coverage. <br />H. That all full time bus driving employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 2. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts <br />of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the <br />provisions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 73-76 .enacted <br />July 17, 1973, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance, <br />the Director of Service of the city of North Olmsted, and. a oopy to the <br />General Manager of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />Section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare by virtue of the fact that they Finance Department <br />~. a <br />
