C <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0 . ~~ <br />BY: - <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ASSESSMENT EQUALIZATION <br />BOARD TO HEAR OBJECTIONS RELATIVE TO THE ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BROOKPARK ROAD EXTENSION <br />IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY . <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That William Coming , Hush S ed <br />and Donald Wensink three disinterested freeholders of said <br />City be and they are hereby appointed to act as an Assessment Equalization <br />Board to hear and determine all timely written objections to the estimated <br />assessments heretofore reported to this Council of the cost of improving <br />the Brookpark Road Extension from its presently easterly terminus, thence <br />continuing easterly and southerly approximately 472 feet to Lorain Road, <br />by grading, draining, curbing and paving the same, including the acquisi- <br />tion of necessary real estate, and to equalize the same as to them seems <br />proper, in accordance with law and with Resolution No. 73-120 adopted by <br />this Council on September 18, 1973. <br />Section 2. The Board shall first meet for the above purpose at the <br />Council Chamber in the City Hall on the 1 gthday of J~ar~e~~- 1974, at <br />8:00 p.m., and upon the completion of such equalization shall report such <br />equalized assessment to Council. <br />Section 3. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health and safety of said City, and for the further reason that the <br />immediate construction of said improvement is necessary to eliminate <br />exsiting hazards to pedestrian and vehicular traffic; wherefore, this <br />resolution shall be in full force and effect from and immediately after <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: .~1 ~/ ~~~ ~ <br />ATTEST: /~~~ <br />Nora T.
