CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74- <br />B Y: <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE PUBLIC <br />SERVICE OF COUNCILMAN JAMES BOEHMER, <br />AND DECLARTNG AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, on December 3I, 1973, Councilman. James Boehmer completed <br />his term of office ;and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman James Boehmer has represented Ward 1 from January <br />1, 1970 to December 31, 1973, a period of four (4) years of dedicated service to <br />the residents of his Ward and also, to the entire City of North Olmsted, using his <br />experience, knowledge and dedication in the performance of his councilmanic duties; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman James Boehmer has served as chairman of the Municipal <br />Development Committee, Streets and Drainage Committee, Public Safety, Health and <br />Welfare Committee and Environmental Control Committee of Council ;and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman James Boehmer has served as a committee member on <br />all other committees of Council ;and <br />WHEREAS during his term of office Councilman James Boehmer gave his time, <br />never shirking his duty even though, oftentimes, the duty was one which required <br />tact and patience, and required him to take a controversial position at times ;and <br />WHEREAS, it is the deisre of the members of this Council to express their <br />opinion that the contributions of James Boehmer be recognized with sincere gratitude <br />by the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, by the Admini=stration, and by all the <br />Officials of the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the minutes of this Council show the gratitude and appreciation <br />of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, its Administrative Officers, and the <br />members of this Council to James Boehmer for his four (4) years of devoted public <br />service to the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy of this Resolution to Councilman James Boehmer ,after it has been duly passed <br />and executed. <br />Section 3. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety, health and <br />welfare of the City; WHEREFORE, this Resolution shailtake effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest date permitted by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST:I/ 0 " <br />/f <br />Nora T.
