The Clerk shall maintain a record of the date and <br />manner, and time if pertinent under these Rules, of all actions taken <br />with regard to notices and notifications under Articles 3, 4 and 5 <br />of these Rules, and shall retain copies of proofs of publication of any <br />notifications or notices published. thereunder. <br />Sec.6.06. To better insure compliance with these rules as to <br />notice and notification, it shall be the responsibility of the chairman <br />or secretary of a municipal body other than Council, or the person or <br />persons calling the meetings, to timely advise the Clerk of future <br />meetings, and the subject matters to be discussed thereat, of such <br />Municipal Body. <br />SECTION 2: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to adopt rules and regulations to notify <br />the public and. news media of meetings held. by the City to comply with <br />State Statutes, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED• • •~~~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~~~~ ~ ~ . <br />NORA T.
