,. e,: CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 75 - v~ ~~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 163.02 AND SECTION 163.03 OF CHAPTER 163 ENTITLED "DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES" OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1~: That Section 163.02 entitled "Director and Employees" and Section 163.03 entitled "Salary of the Director" of Chapter 163 entitled "Department of Human Resources" which now read as follows: "Section 163.02 Director and Em loyees a. The Department of Human Resources shall be headed by a Director who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council and shall be answerable to the Mayor. b. The Council shall from time to time, as the need arises, provide the Director with clerical assistance in the operation of the Department, at which time the Council shall also provide for the compensation of any clerical positions created hereunder. Section 163..03 Salary of the Director The salary of the Director shall range between $8,000.00 and $15,000.00 per year. The salary, however, shall be specifically set at the time of appointment by the Mayor and confirmation of Council." be and are hereby amended, and as amended, shall read as follows: "Section 163.02 Director and Employees a. The employees within the Department of Human Resources shall be as follows: 1. Assistant Director - who shall act as co-ordinator for older adults (senior citizens) as well as other duties assigned by the Director. 2. Secretary - who shall perform all clerical work as well as act as receptionist, and perform all other duties as assigned by the Director. Section 163.03 Salaries of Director and Em lovees a. The salary of the Director shall range between $8,000.00 and $15,000.00 per year. The salary, however, shall be specifically set at the time of appointment by the Mayor and confirmation of Council . b. Salary of the Assistant Director shall range between $6,500.00 and $8,500.00 per year. c. The salary of the Secretary shall range between $5,000.00 and $7,500.00 per year.
