CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 75-~.~6 By .~~ /f.~~''- AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 75-220 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee and the Finance Committee have recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making an adjustment in the compensation for maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That effective November 3, 1975, employees holding t~i~-o~lowing positions in the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be paid the salaries and wages as hereinafter determined: General Manager $13,000 to $19,800 annually Superintendent 12,000 to 17,600 annually Supervisor of Operations 10,500 to 15,950 annually Supervisor of Maintenance 10,500 to 15,950 annually Administrative Assistant 8,000 to 10,000 annually Secretary 6,020 to 9,608 annually Mechanic - Equipment re- pairman Mechanic Leader Mechanic Apprentice Serviceman Extra Labor $5.71/hour 5.83/hour 5.88/hour 5.99/hour 6.20/hour 6.29 hour 5.36/hour 5.51/hour 5.61/hour 5.25/hour 5.37/hour 5.50/hour 2.10 to $ to start after one year after two years after three years to start after one year to start after one year after two years to start after one year after two years 3.95 per hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi- weekly. The normal work week for regular full time hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be forty (40) hours. It is recognized that the Bus Line will be manned on schedules compatible to efficient and practical transit service, seven days a week. It is recognized that some employees may be assigned to work schedules to accom- modate seven (7) day per week service. Hourly employees will be paid at time and one-half (12) of their straight time rates of pay for hours in excess of forty hours worked in any one work week. The normal work week shall start at 2:01 A.M. Monday and end at 2:00 A.M. the succeeding Monday. The North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be the sole judge of the necessity for overtime.
