CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 75 - ~.~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A CONCESSIONS DIVISION <br />WITHIN THE RECREATION CEPdTER COMPLEX, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, the adminis- <br />tration, and the recreation commission that the City operate <br />and maintain certain concessions within the recreation center <br />complex, and <br />WHEREAS, it is contemplated at this time that the <br />concessions to be established would include, but not be <br />limited to, a pro shop and snack bar, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish <br />a concessions division and to further provide the necessary <br />financial structure for the operation of same. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION '1: That there is hereby established in the <br />recreation center complex a concessions division which shall be <br />under the direct control and supervision of the recreation <br />center manager and will be staffed by recreation center personnel. <br />SECTION 2: That the recreation center manager is hereby <br />authorized to purchase goods and supplies for the purpose of <br />selling same at the recreation center complex. All purchases <br />shall comply with the bidding requirements of the City of North <br />Olmsted as established by Charter and no purchases shall be <br />made unless prior approval is obtained from the Safety Director <br />of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: All purchases made by the concessions division <br />shall be :g~~.d out of the recreational center operating fund .and <br />all income from the concessions division shall be deposited in <br />the recreational center operating fund. <br />SECTION 4: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of <br />public peace, health, safety, and welfare, and. for the further <br />reason that it is necessary to have concessions in operation <br />when the recreation center complex commences operation on <br />November 1, 1975, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: C,~Qc..~.~L_~~~fy/~ <br />ATTEST: <br />C %~~ /. ~ . <br />NORA T.
