M <br />~~ _. <br />. ~~ ~-' <br />',~~;~ ~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO . 7 5 - •3~ <br />BY: <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF <br />THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, WHICH <br />ZONE MAP IS PART OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, BY CHANGING THE PREMISES <br />HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED FROM SINGLE FAMILY <br />RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO GENERAL RETAIL BUSINESS <br />DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the zoning that applies to the <br />below described real property is improper under the conditions <br />presently existing and inadequate for the development and ~xse <br />of this land, and <br />WHEREAS, after a careful consideration, the Planning <br />Commission of this City on the' ~ day of ~~(~,.,,,~--. , <br />1975, recommended ~~_`~ of the change o~tFie <br />district herein spec. ied, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That after submission of this ordinance to <br />the Planning Commission of this City for its opinion and recom- <br />mendation, and after a Public Hearing hereon, notice of which <br />has been given pursuant to Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter <br />of this City, entitled "The Council" - "Enactment of Zoning <br />Ordinances and Regulations, Notice", and after its passage <br />pursuant to the Charter of this City and its approval by the <br />Mayor of this City of North Olmsted, the Zone Map of North <br />Olmsted is hereby amended, and as amended be and the same is <br />hereby revised by changing the zoning of the following <br />described parcel of land from Single Family Residence District <br />to General Retail Business District: <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of <br />Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and being known as part <br />of Original Dover Township Lot No. 7 and bounded <br />and described as follows: <br />Beginning at an iron pin set at the Northwest corner <br />of land conveyed to the Chrysler Realty Corp. as <br />recorded in Volume 12155, Page 805 of Cuyahoga <br />County Record of Deeds; <br />Thence North Ol° 06' 40" East parallel with the <br />centerline of Canterbury Road, 60 feet wide, a <br />distance of 145.03 feet to an iron pin set; <br />Thence South 88° 54' 40" East, a distance of 347.88 <br />feet to an iron pin set; <br />Thence South 68° 27' 40" West, and parallel with the <br />centerline of Lorain Road, 80 feet wide, a distance <br />of 376.95 feet to an iron pin set and the place <br />of beginning; <br />Containing within said bounds 0.579 Acres of land, be <br />the same more or less but subject to all legal highways, <br />as surveyed by J. R. Foor & Associates in February <br />of 1975. <br />
