CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 75- ~~3 BY: AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPLEMENT OF THE RECREATION CENTER, AFFIXING THE COMPENSATIONd TO BE PAID THE MEMBERS OF THE STAFF THEREOF, REPEALING ORDINANCE 75-214 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPLEMENT OF THE RECREATION CENTER AFFIXING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID THE MEMBERS OF THE STAFF THEREFORE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: The complement of the Recreation Center and compensation paid to the members of the Recreation Center staff is established as follows: 1 Recreation Center Manager $16,000 to $22,000 Annually 2 Assistant Recreation Center Managers 1-A $ 8,000 to $16,000 Annually 1-B $ 8,000 to $14,000 Annually 1 Maintenance ~ Operation Superintendent $ 8,000 to $12,000 Annually 1 Food Service Manager $ 8,000 to $12,000 Annually 1 Secretary & Bookkeeper $ 6,000 to $ 7,200 Annually 2 Maintenance Assistants $2.10 to $5.00 per hour The salaries of the above employees of the Recreation Center shall be determined by the Recreation Center Manager subject to confirmation by the Recreation Commission according to examination, reputation, experience, education, and knowledge in their field of specialty or undertaking with the exception of the Recreation Center I'Ia.nager whose salary shall. be detex-~nined by the SafeL-y Director subject to approval of the Recreation Commission. The Recreation Center Manager, two Assistant P'tanagers, and Food Service Manager may be placed on contract for a period determined by Council which contract may provide for a percentage of gross or net revenue derived from the operations which they direct subject to recommendation by the Recreation Commission and approval of Council. Said salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. SECTION 2: Any other employee of the Recreation Center except those heretofore set forth, shall be designated into grades by the Recreation Center Manager, subject to confirmation by the Recreation Commission, according to examination, reputation, experience, education, and knowledge in their field of specialty or undertaking. The compensation for pay grades established shall be as follows: Instructors, Leaders, Coaches, Ticket Takers, Food Service Assistants, Consultants, Coordinators, Guards, Attendants, Cleaning Assistants, and Mainten- ance Assistants.
