CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 75 - ~a~ <br />BY• <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP <br />AND FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO PRO- <br />VIDE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGN AT THE <br />INTERSECTION OF REED ROAD AND MICHAEL AVENUE <br />IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted that for the purposes of public safety, a stop sign <br />should be installed at the intersection of Reed Road and Michael <br />Avenue by placing a stop sign on the northeasterly corner of Reed. <br />Road at a point where it intersects with Michael Avenue, thereby <br />controlling the traffic traveling in a westerly direction on Reed <br />Road; and, <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the <br />maintenance of a traffic control map, which said map can be amended. <br />only by ordinance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Police Department be, and the same is <br />hereby, authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control Map <br />and File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon a stop <br />sign on the northeasterly corner of Reed Road at a point where it <br />intersects with Michael Avenue. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor is hereby authorized. to have said <br />stop sign installed in accordance with the provisions of this <br />ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSID : ~~_~~J' <br />ATTEST: <br />. ~~~ <br />~~~ ~ <br />NORA T.
