<br />SC'tiEDL'L~ F: <br />COST RFI`;BLRS:...::':'I SiS: ti.. <br />Debt service is an allowable cost as specified in the agree^ent. <br />It represents principal and interest costs incurred by the City for the <br />retirement of debt issued to purchase capital facilities and equipent, <br />or to purchases and improve land. These costs are distributed to either <br />the vehicle cost pool or t;Ie general and ad,:,inistrative cost pool. These <br />costs are then allocated on the basis specified fcr each cost pool. <br />ron-Allcwable Costs <br />In addition to the above criteria covering cost allowability, <br />certain items of cost have been treated as not allowable, and therefore, <br />not subject to reimbursement unless agreed to b}~ RTy. These costs are: <br />1. Bad debts arising from uncollectible accounts, <br />other claims and related costs. <br />2. Contingency reserve contributions or similar <br />provisions for unforeseen events. <br />3. Contributions and donations to ci:aritable or <br />similar organizatio^.s. This also includes <br />transfers or funds to other municipal <br />departr.,ents or funds fro: winch r.o Beneficial <br />service was received. <br />4. Costs of entertainuent, a-user..ent, social <br />activities, and incidental costs related <br />thereto, such as meals, lodginbs, beverages, <br />rentals, transportation, and gratuities. <br />Deter::~ining the Cost o* the T~~nes of Service <br />All allowable costs o: ill be distributed ar.:ong the types of <br />service rendered by the Cite.
