.y <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7 5 - ~~~ <br />Page 2. <br />The compensation for the secretary to the Mayor; the secretary <br />to the Director of Public Service; and all other secretarial and <br />clerical help shall be set forth in the organizational ordinance <br />for secretarial and clerical help. <br />SECTION 3: That all full-time employees of the Administration <br />Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless required <br />to work by the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate <br />of pay: New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence <br />Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's <br />birthday; and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 4: That all full-time employees of the Administration <br />Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full-time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full-time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full-time service. <br />SECTION ~: That the purpose of this ordinance is to establish <br />the Administration Department and the salaries to be paid, which <br />shall not in any way be construed as limiting the authority of the <br />Mayor for the City of North Olmsted, as established by the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 6: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy of this ordinance to the Director of Finance immedi- <br />ately upon its passage in order that the Director of Finance can <br />pay the compensation, as hereinabove set forth. <br />SECTION 7: That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the <br />provisions in this ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 73-69, <br />enacted July 17, 1973, are hereby repealed with the effective date <br />of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 8: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety, and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them <br />into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided. it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mem- <br />bers elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immed- <br />iately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED• <br />ATTEST: <br />G!~,~t/t.c.~ <br />NORA T.
