CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 75 - 160 <br />Page 2 <br />SECTION 5: The Secretarial and clerical help of the City of North <br />Olmste sd-FiaTT--receive, as longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This <br />longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary <br />paid to secretary and clerical (full-time) at the rate of $25.00 for each <br />and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed <br />by the City of North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary <br />date of employment. <br />SECTION 6: That the employees shall not be required to work the <br />following o i ays, unless requested to work by their supervisor in an <br />emergency; New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, <br />Thansgiving Day, Christmas Day, President's Day, the employee's birthday, <br />and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 7: That all full-time employees shall be entitled to an annual <br />vacation~`reccordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full-time service; <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full-time service; <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full-time service. <br />SECTION 8: That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a <br />copy o t is ordinance to all department heads and the Director of Finance for <br />payment of remuneration, as set forth above, immediately upon its passage. <br />SECTION 9: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of <br />this ordinance, are hereby repealed, especially Ordinance No. 74-91, enacted <br />June 18, 1974, with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 10: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imm~ec~iately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety, and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation <br />and cost of living increases, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: ~~;tc-L <br />L%~/~E.~c...~ <br />NO RA T.
