CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 75 - ~..~9 <br />Page 2. <br />full-time service, and thereafter 6% of his base annual salary <br />until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of contin- <br />uous full-time service, and during each year of full-time service <br />thereafter he shall receive 7% of his base annual salary as longe- <br />vity increments. <br />SECTION 5: That all full-time employees of the Finance Depart- <br />ment shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to <br />work by the Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive the <br />regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence <br />Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; <br />the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 6: That all full-time employees of the Finance Depart- <br />ment shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the <br />following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full-time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full-time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full-time service. <br />SECTION 7: That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby <br />authorised to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, <br />but only in the event the Director of Finance is absent from the <br />City or on vacation. <br />SECTION 8: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy of this ordinance to the Director of Finance immedi- <br />ately upon its passage. <br />SECTION 9: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts <br />of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the <br />provisions of this ordinance, are hereby repealed, especially <br />Ordinance No. 74-90, enacted June 18, 1974, with the effective date <br />of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 10: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety, and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them <br />into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED • l ..~ <br />ATTEST: j y/J // /,/p <br />NORA T.
