t;ITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~.~-/S`~~ <br />RY <br />A-N O~INAN RING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-8-27 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR storm sewers <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the storm <br />sewers. <br />WHEREAS, The Owner of S/L 8 Southern Avenue <br />have paid the sum of $ 426,56 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, <br />for the tax years 19 7S through 1978, inclusive, together with accrued interest <br />levied .thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 235_8_27 in the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 1975 through 19 78 , inclusive <br />assessments in full for, Storm Sewer. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 1975 through 19 78, inclusive, amounting to <br />$ 426.56 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance -is fiereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 235-8-27 for storm sewer. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSER : 5`, /~~5 <br />ATTEST <br />/~'~W ~ V <br />Clerk of Council <br />!, ~ <br />APPROVED: ~P/7 ~S <br />• ~''~--~° mot....) ~ ~ R <br />Pres den of Council <br />`~__.. <br />Mayor <br />
