:;; , CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0, ~s=/~o B.Y___~ ,~,r R NAAICE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-8-34 BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR sidewalk ~ paving AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the sidewalk and paving WHEREAS, Shore West Construction Co. of ,Southern Avenue have paid the sum of $1,562.50 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, for the tax years 19 75 through 1979, inclusive, together with accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 235-8-34 in the City of North Olmsted, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cancel for the years 197 5through 19 79, inclusive assessments in full for, sidewalk ~ paving. Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments for the period 1975 through 19 79, inclusive, amounting to $1,562.50 on said parcel. Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency -measure--necessary -for tt~e preservation of the pubs lc -peace, health and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel No. 235-8-34 for sidewalk ~ paving. Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
