CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ,~1 =/.~'~ <br />B.Y___~ j~;e% .v <br />N 0 ANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-8-25 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR water line <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the water line <br />WHEREAS, Shore West Construction Co. of Southern Avenue <br />have paid the sum of $347.52 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, <br />for the tax years 1975 through 1971 inclusive, together with accrued interest <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No, 235.8-25 in the City of North <br />Olmsted, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 197 5 through l9 77, inclusive <br />assessments in full for, water line. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 1975 through 19 77, inclusive, amounting to <br />$ 347.52 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 235-8-25 for water tine <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSE6 • ~/~/~'~ <br />ATTEST <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED : G /SI ~? ~ <br />Mayor <br />M <br />Pres i <br />` ~~ <br />t of Counci <br /> <br />
