CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 7,5=/,ZG <br />BY__!~~ <br />° N 0 INANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-8-36 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR PAVING <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the paving. <br />WHEREAS, The Owner of S,~L 4 Southern Avenue <br />have paid the sum of $1,640.60 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, <br />for the tax years 19 75 throughl979, inclusive, together with accrued interest <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No, 235-$-36 in the City of North <br />Olmsted, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 197 5 through 19 79 , inclusive <br />assessments in full for, paving. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 19 75 through 19 79, inclusive, amounting to <br />$1,640.60 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby- declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 235-$-36 for paving. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASS E6 • ~~ <br />ATTEST <br />_ ~ k~ <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED : G/y/7S~ <br />G . <br />Mayor <br />~~ ~ ~ ~ <br />Preside t of Council <br />.._ <br /> <br />
