Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Caster, that the Law Director be directed <br />to prepare legislation authorizing the payment of a fixed price per foot for <br />easements on Dover Rd. and also authorizing this amount be paid fio residents <br />who have already granted easements. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, <br />Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill. <br />The Service Director's recommendation that a review of Resolution No. 61-224 be <br />made was turned over to the Legislative Committee. Mr. Christman advised that <br />he felt that this Resolution could be repealed. <br />The Service Director's recommendation regarding a permanent easement for sewer <br />right of way on the lot purchased by the City on Summerland Ave. and his request <br />that ar~thority be ge~ren to advertise for bids for the sale of this lot was turned <br />over to the Legislative Committee. <br />Mr. Caster requested that the Decker Road Storm Sewer be referred to the <br />Legislative Committee. <br />Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Caster, that the Law Director be directed <br />to prepare legislation authorizing a g0 day extension to Dandrea and Nardini, Inc. <br />Sewer Contractors for Contract No. 6. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, <br />Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill. <br />The Service Director asked if further legislation was necessary to proceed with <br />the installation of the service connections for sewers in the Libby-Lee, Inc. <br />and Varady Subdivision. The Law Director is to review this matter and advise <br />what is the next step. <br />Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the Law Director be directed <br />to prepare legislation authorizing the Service Director to proceed with the <br />construction of the water main in Walter Road. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, <br />Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill. <br />Mr. Christman advised that the request of Mr. & Mrs. H.M. Love, 4993 Grace Rd. <br />for the City to paq for sewer work they had dyne in the tree lawn in front of <br />their home would be reviewed before the next regular Council Meeting. <br />Mr. O'Neill requested information from the Service Director as to the status of <br />the installation of street lights on Coe Ave. and other streets authorized. <br />The Service Director advised that the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company has <br />been instructed to make the installations and that they were having difficulty <br />obtaining the right of way from residents on Coe Ave. as the lines must be brought <br />from the rear of the properties. The Public Utilities Committee is to check into <br />this matter. <br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Leonard, that Council approve the preliminary <br />plat of the Madow Subdivision with the recommendation that Lots 24 and 48 be <br />reserved for a possible street until such time that the adjacent land is developed <br />and then these lots could be used for homes.
