<br />Mrs. Nicholas stated that the Council is opposed to a 6 Ward Plan and feels that
<br />if we retained the !: Wards that a resident could appeal to a Councilman-at large
<br />if he could not come to ann agreement with his councilman but as this redistribution
<br />of the Wards was submitted by petition of the electors we are required by law to
<br />place this question on the ballot.
<br />Ordinance No. 61-165 was introduced by Mrs. Nicholas. An ordinas~e providing for
<br />the submission to the Electors of the City of North Olmsted the question of
<br />amending Section 1 of Article IV and Section 7 of Article I% of the City Charfi~er.
<br />It was moved by Mrs. Nicholas, seconded by Mr. Porter, that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the ordinance be ream immediately the second and third times and
<br />put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster,
<br />Lampert, Mangani, Nicholas, 0-Neill~ Porter. Thereupon the ordinance was read
<br />the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote hereon
<br />was as follows: Caster, Lampert, Mangani, Nircholas, O~l~eiill, Porter.
<br />Ordinance No. 61-1b6 was intn~'duced by Mr. Porter. An ordinance creating the
<br />position of Inspectors for the inspection of service sanitary sewer lines and
<br />fixing compensation thereof. It was moved by Mr. Porter, seconded by Mr. O~Neill,
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read imraedaately the
<br />secorr3. and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as follows: Caster, Lampert, Mas:gani, Nicholas, O~Neill, Porter. There-
<br />upon the ordinaries was read the second and third times and put upon its passage

<br />Ordinance No. 6].x»167 was introduced by Mr. OtNeill. An ordinance agreeing to pay
<br />a prorated share of the cost of opposing the increase in rates sought by the East
<br />Ohio Gas Company, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. O~Nei11, seconded
<br />by Mr. Lampert, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read
<br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative
<br />vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Lampert, Mangani., Nicholas, O~Neill,
<br />Porter. Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and thixd times and put upon

<br />Resolution No. 61,.168 was introduced by Mr. Lampert. A resolution authorizing the
<br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the furnishing of 200 tons
<br />of 'balk consr<ereial salt and 1500 yards of cinders, and declaring an emergency. It
<br />was moved by Mr. Lampert, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times and
<br />put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster,
<br />Lampert, Mangani, Nicholas, OtNeill, Porter. Thereupon the resolution was
<br />read the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote

<br />appropriations and declaring an emergency. It was mod~ed by Mr, OiNeill, seconded
<br />by Mr. Caster, that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read
<br />immediately the second and third braes and put on its passage. The affirmative

<br />237-11r2lt, Clague Rd., being an assessment for the preparation of detailed plans
<br />and specifications for a sewerage system and sidewalk assessment in the City of
<br />North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Tt was mrnred by Mrs. Nicholas, seconded
<br />by Mr. Marrgani, that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read
<br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative
<br />vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Lampert, Mangani, Nicholas, O~Neill,
<br />Porter. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third times and put
