MINUTES OF THE; SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL

<br />Present were Paxzl J. Gareau, Mayor; Henry Caster, Ralph Christman, Dewey Limpert,
<br />A.L. Mangani, Lillian Nicholas, George Porter.
<br />Also present were F;l.oyd E. Barnes, Service Director; and Louise Hall, C7~rk
<br />of Council
<br />Absent: Bruce MacDonald, President of Council and Francis J. O~Aeil7..
<br />ITae to the absence of the President and President Pro Tem of Council, Mrs.
<br />Nicholas moved} seconded by Mr. Limpert, that Mr. Christman serve as temporary
<br />Presddent of Council at this meeting. +fYeas~' Caster, Christman, Lir~pert,

<br />Resolution No. 61.95 was introduced by Mrs. Nicholas. A resolution autY:.orizing
<br />the extension of sanitary lateral sewer lines from the curb lawn to the property
<br />line of improved properties to be served with sanitary sewers, and declaring
<br />an emergency, It was moved by Mrs. Nit hola.s ~ seconded by Mr. Porter, that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately t he second
<br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion
<br />was as follows: ~.ristman, Caster, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, Porter. Thereupon
<br />the resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its passage
<br />and the affirmative vote thereon wav as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert,
<br />Mangani, Nicholas, pc~rte~.
<br />Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Porter, that the terms for the proposal t®
<br />be submitted to Parkview for their possible participation in our Sewer Program
<br />be discussed at this meeting. °~Yeas" Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani,
<br />Nicholas, Porter.
<br />The Mayor stated that he felt that Parkview should pay a portion of the trunk
<br />sewer costs.
<br />Af#rer discussion of the above matter, Mr. Caster moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert,
<br />that the moti on made by Mr. Christman at the May 9, 1961 meeting that X7,600.
<br />for Parkviewrs porn on of the trunk line be included in any proposal made to

<br />N,ir 8aster moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that the following terms be stipulated
<br />in a proposal when presented to Parkview for their participation in NortY~i Olmsted+s
<br />sewer program: that residents of Parkview pay X3.50 per 1000 cu. ft. of water
<br />used and that Parkview make a cash payment of $36'563. which includes $27,600.
<br />for their par ti on of the trunk line; and X8,963. for increasing the size of +she
<br />Esther Ave. sewer; and that they should pay a proportionate share when expansion
<br />of the plant is required and also that a flow meter be installed in North Olmsted
<br />and paid for by North Olmsted. "Yeas« Caster, Christman, Limpert, Nicholas,

<br />Mr. Porter moved, seconded by Mrs. Nicholas that the absence of Messrs.
<br />MacDonald and O:Neill be excused, "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani,
