<br />Mrs. Nicholas moved, seconded by Mr. Christman, to reconsider the motion made
<br />at the Nlay 3, 1561 meeting that the Solicitor be directed to prepare legislation
<br />authorizing the extension of the sewer service lines to the property line
<br />~.ther than the tree lawn. 'tYeas"' Christman, Mangani, Nicholas, Porter. "Na;~rs"

<br />Resolution No, 61.95 was introduced by Mrs. Nicholas. A resolution authorizing
<br />the extension of sanitary lateral sewer lines from the curb lawn to the property
<br />line of improved properties to be served with sanitary sewers, and declaring an
<br />emergency. It was moved by Mrs. Nicholas, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second
<br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on s ai.d motion
<br />was as follows : Christman, Mangani, Nicholas, Porter. "~t~s" Caster, Limpe rti

<br />After discussion regarding the assessing of the extension of the service lines,
<br />it was decided to hold a meeting May 1C, 1961 tc consider Resolution 6195
<br />after the Contractors have been approached as to cast for thi.5 work and whether
<br />or not it carp be assessed as a flat charge per connection rattier than based an
<br />(rant foot.
<br />Mr. Christrr~an reported. on the meeting ud.th Parkview and stated a decision mus*.,
<br />be made and a resolution passed at the next regular meeting submitting a firm
<br />propos al to Parkview fer participati an in our Sewer Program.
<br />Mr. Christman recommended that residents of Parkvz.ew pay X3.50 per 1000 cu. ft,
<br />of water used and that Parkview make a cash payment of ~l~1.,563.0o which includes
<br />X27,600, for their portion of the trunk line; X5,000, for a flow meter; $8,963.
<br />far increasing the size of the Esther Ave. sewer; and that they should pay a
<br />proportionate share when expansion of the plant is required.

<br />redesign of the Claque Road sewer was because they were unable to obtain any
<br />complete drawings with elevations from the Cleveland Water Dept. when the
<br />original design was made,

<br />would not a5suu~; any responsibility for the error and also would. not charge
<br />the City for the revised plans.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that inasmuch as Flab-{~. Browne and
<br />Associates have agreed to stand the expense of the redesign of the Claque
<br />Road sewer due tc an error created by incomplete drawings of the Water Dept.,

<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that Mr. O~Nei11~s absence be
