MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />May 10, 1960 «- 7:30 P,M. <br />This meeting was called for the purpose of passing legislation employing <br />Regional Planning Commission to meke a study of the industria7.]~ zoned area <br />of the City, lying south of Brookpark Rd. and easterly of the Shopping Center. <br />Present ware Paul J. Gareau, Mayor; Bruce MacDonald, President of Council; <br />Henry Caster, Ralph Christman, Dewey Lampert, A.L. Mangani, Lillian Nicholas, <br />Francis J. O~Neill~ George Porter. <br />Also present were Lloyd E. Barnes! Service Director; James T. Wilson, Safety <br />Director; C.J. Oviatt, Solicitor; Alex Kanareff, Engineer; William Gerlach <br />Auditor, <br />Ordinance No, 3023 was introduced by Mr. O~Neill. An ordinance employing <br />Regional Planning Commission to make a study of the industrially zoned area of <br />the City lying south of Brookpark Road and easterly of the Shopping Center, <br />and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. OtNeill~ s®conddd by Mrs. <br />Nichol.as~ that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read <br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. the affirmative <br />vote on said motion was as follows: Christman Mangani~ Lampert, Nicholas, <br />OtNeill, Porter, pNayw Caster. Thereupon the ordinance was read the second <br />and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was <br />as follows: Christman, Lampert, Mangani, Nicholas OtNeill~ Porter. «Nayp Caster. <br />Mrs. Nicholas moved, seconded by Mr. Christman, that Council consider other <br />legislation that has been prepared. ~~Yeasp Caster, Christman, Lampert, Mangani, <br />Nicholas, O~IQeill~ Porter, <br />Resolution No. 3021 was introduced by Mr. OtNeill. A resolution of congratulations, <br />It was moved by Mr. O~Neill~ seconded by Mr. Lampert, that the statutory rule <br />be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times <br />and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: <br />Casters Chrastman~ Limpert~ Mangani, Nicholas, Ot:Veill~ Porter. Thereupon the <br />resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its passage and the <br />affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman Lampert, Mangani, Nicholas; <br />O~Neill~ Porter. <br />Resolution No. 3025 was introduced by Mr, OtNeill. A resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for furnishing of labor <br />and material in the quality and quantities designated by the Director of <br />Public Service for the street resurfacing program for the year 1960 in the <br />City of North 0lmsted~ and declaring an emergency, It was moved by Mr. O~Neill~ <br />seconded by Mr. Limpert~ that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution <br />be read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The <br />affirmative vote on said motion was as fo]1ows: Caster, Christ~nan~ Lampert, <br />Mangani, Nicholas, O~Neill, Porter. Thereupon the resolution was read the <br />second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote <br />thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, Lampert, Mangani~ Nicholas, <br />O~Nei11~ Porter. <br />Hrdinance No. 3026 was introduced by Mr. Christman, An ordinance amending <br />Section 4 of Ordinance 2988, enacted February 16~ 1960, entitled an Ordinance <br />appropriating current expenses and other expenditures for the City during the <br />fiscal year ending December 31, 1960, and declaring an emergency. It was moved <br />by Mr, Christman, seeoad~d by Mr. Porters that the statutory rule be sus ended <br />and the ordinance be read imm®diately the second and thatid times and put~n its <br />passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, <br />Lampert, Mangani~ Nicholas O~Neill, Porter. Thereupon the ordinance was read <br />the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote <br />there©n was as follows: Caster, Christman, Lampert, Mangani, Nicholas, OtNeill~ <br />Porter. <br />
